My name is Lynn Valaes

I am a professional ACE-certified personal trainer, a breast cancer exercise specialist, and the owner of Wise Women Fitness, a training studio exclusively for women.
For over 12 years, I've helped hundreds of women like you redefine their health and fitness at every stage: before, during, and after menopause.
I created Midlife Magic to empower women in midlife to take control of their health with simple, effective solutions that truly work. Q: How exactly does the program work? A: This is a self-directed health and fitness program delivered to you electronically. You will receive all the program materials in an email, and then on the program start day, you will begin receiving daily coaching emails. You'll have access to a private Facebook group where you can ask questions, share wins and support other program members.

Q: Will this help with my menopausal weight gain? A: Yes! I am in post-menopause, so I can relate to your changes. Everything I share in this program will help redefine your health no matter what stage you’re experiencing. If you show up and do the work, you absolutely will see AND feel changes!

Q: What if I haven't exercised in years? A: Then let’s get you started! Modifications are shown in many videos for you to make the exercises harder or easier and I am here to help along the way if you have any questions! We always recommend you consult your physician before starting any health or fitness program.

Q: I have dietary restrictions - can I still participate? A: Of course! You customize your nutrition to accommodate various dietary needs and preferences, ensuring you get the most out of the program. By following the portion size guides and the whole-foods-based recommendation, you will ensure you're getting the proper amount of macronutrients.

Q: Do I need any special equipment or gym membership? A: If you have a gym membership, awesome! However, it's not necessary; you can do these workouts at home. It is recommended you purchase a couple of sets of dumbbells and some resistance bands for the workouts, but these are easy to buy online or at your local department store such as Walmart. If you need to be creative, even a couple of water bottles or gallon jugs will work!

Q: How much weight will I lose in 28 days? A: Only your body can determine that. This is all about the long game. Although a big transformation takes time, consistency, and patience, 28 days is a great start to reset your habits, kickstart your metabolism, learn some food knowledge, and see tangible results. This isn’t just a temporary fix - it’s the beginning of your new empowered relationship with food and exercise!

Q: Pain & injury have been limiting my mobility and desire to exercise. Will there be workouts I can do, and are they required? A: I've programmed these workouts specifically with the beginner/intermediate exerciser in mind. All exercises can be modified to fit most fitness levels, and adjusted if you are injured. If an exercise is too challenging, just keep moving. If you can commit to following the lifestyle tips and nutrition guidelines, you will see changes!

Q: What kind of support will I receive during the program? A: You'll have access to a private Facebook community, daily coaching emails, and weekly check-ins on the group to keep you on track!
